This short film illustrates his passion for creativity, music and photography and shows how he passes those values on to his children. His view on life is refreshing and inspirational. “Tiny Worlds” is a micro-short with a humorous take on reality. It shows a tiny world, within our world. Something that is happening at the level of our feet and that is so small we don’t even notice it. But as tiny as it may be, it’s a universe of it’s own. I think everything is a universe of it’s own, simply because if you zoom in on something – anything – you’ll find that it never really ends. You can always zoom in further. There’s always a next dimension, a new layer that stems from the previous one. Try looking at your problems that way. Zooming in (or out) always creates space and new options.
I loved this mini documentary. It takes you into the magical world of sound. It inspires you by making you a witness of someones love and craftsmanship to create new things and it will teach you something. And as the main character says so beautifully: every time you learn something new, whatever it is, no matter how small; it’s meaningful. So watch, be inspired and learn something new!
To be where the magic happens, you must go out of the box. Or inside? I guess in the end it doesn’t matter, as long as you dare to change. It’s change that will lead you to magic. Enjoy this short film!
I don’t have recurring dreams – but I do see history repeating. Take global politics for instance, or trends in fashion or the entertainment industry. And often also in my personal life. Certain lessons need to be learned in more than one lesson, in various situations. That’s what this splendid music video made me think about. Splendid because it’s pure eye-candy and also a nice song. Enjoy!
Wow, take a look at this! It’s a real time, non-manipulated video of the moon rising over the Mount Victoria Lookout in Wellington, New Zealand. The filmmaker says: “People had gathered up there this night to get the best view possible of the moon rising. I captured the video from 2.1 km away on the other side of the city. It’s something that I’ve been wanting to photograph for a long time now, and a lot of planning and failed attempts had taken place. Finally, during moon rise on the 28th January 2013, everything fell into place and I got my footage”. It’s nature at it’s finest. Enjoy!
Let’s look at the future and in particular on how technology plays an increasing part in changing our lives. Some may argue it all goes too fast, yet Peter Diamandis makes a case for optimism – that we’ll invent, innovate and create ways to solve the global challenges that loom over us. He says: “I’m not saying we don’t have our set of problems; we surely do. But ultimately, we knock them down.” You will surely get some inspiration from this TED talk Diamandis gave in early 2012. His meta vision on the future of the world and mankind is based on his conviction that: “Abundance is our future.”
