I don’t have recurring dreams – but I do see history repeating. Take global politics for instance, or trends in fashion or the entertainment industry. And often also in my personal life. Certain lessons need to be learned in more than one lesson, in various situations. That’s what this splendid music video made me think about. Splendid because it’s pure eye-candy and also a nice song. Enjoy!
Because life is serious enough, I try to do a little dance everyday. I make a quick, preferably silly move to lighten up, to brighten up, to feel carefree. Silly? Yes, so it puts a smile on my face for sure!
Wow, take a look at this! It’s a real time, non-manipulated video of the moon rising over the Mount Victoria Lookout in Wellington, New Zealand. The filmmaker says: “People had gathered up there this night to get the best view possible of the moon rising. I captured the video from 2.1 km away on the other side of the city. It’s something that I’ve been wanting to photograph for a long time now, and a lot of planning and failed attempts had taken place. Finally, during moon rise on the 28th January 2013, everything fell into place and I got my footage”. It’s nature at it’s finest. Enjoy!
Let’s look at the future and in particular on how technology plays an increasing part in changing our lives. Some may argue it all goes too fast, yet Peter Diamandis makes a case for optimism – that we’ll invent, innovate and create ways to solve the global challenges that loom over us. He says: “I’m not saying we don’t have our set of problems; we surely do. But ultimately, we knock them down.” You will surely get some inspiration from this TED talk Diamandis gave in early 2012. His meta vision on the future of the world and mankind is based on his conviction that: “Abundance is our future.”
Every day you open your eyes like you open the curtain. You enter the world like you enter the stage. Enjoy whatever it is you’re doing. Never mind how many people are watching, if they are applauding or booing you. Life is a stage and the stage is yours.
I recently wrote: “When you start looking for the extraordinary in the ordinary, you’ll begin to see miracles everywhere”. And then I stumbled upon this film, which the filmmakers describe as: “Images which become memories which become LIFE, every second counts to feel alive. (…)”. Watch this film and experience how ‘looking for the extraordinary in the ordinary results in seeing miracles’.
